SYTYCD Auditions Come To Charleston
Over 100 dancing hopefuls from across the country waited in line, some since 3 a.m., to have a chance at reality television stardom by auditioning for "So you think you can dance?", a Fox TV reality show. Dean Morson-Matra, better known among his dance crew as "B-boy Mighty Mouse," practiced his hip-hop moves outside the Charleston Music Hall Thursday, waiting for the "So You Think You Can Dance" auditions to start.
His comfy gray sweats and a white bandana that masked his runny nose helped keep him warm. But something else kept him going.
"Red Bull," said the 25-year-old break dancer from Tampa, Fla. Morson- Matra lined up for the auditions around 4 a.m. He had an energy drink for breakfast, and he said he'd have one for lunch and dinner, too.
